Having met in the Central Church of God in Charlotte during their youth, they first shared their best Canadian candy before getting close. Ayesha Alexander moved to LA to pursue her acting career while Curry started preparing for basketball camp. That was when Stephen approached Ayesha for hanging out and spending some time together. In a week time, they went Hollywood as their first date and that was when the two began their relationship in 2009.

The couple have a daughter named Riley Elizabeth Curry while they are also expecting another baby in 2015.
